Ingrid Rinck lost 100 Lbs

When Ingrid was pregnant with her third child, she faced some difficult personal issues and turned to food for comfort, watching the numbers on the scale rise… and rise. She gained a total of 100 pounds. “I was essentially self-medicating with food, weight gain during pregnancy is a problem that every woman will experience,” she said.

After giving birth, she vowed to find a sustainable way to lose weight. For her, this meant not depriving herself of any type of food, but eating until she felt satisfied, not until she was full. “I tried the keto diet,” she explained. “They mainly consist of lean protein, carbohydrates, healthy fats, and vegetables. I changed my view of food—from seeing it as a source of pleasure to seeing it as a fuel for my body.”

3 months, she Within lost 40 pounds, and her energy levels and stamina skyrocketed. By the 8th month, she had lost 100 pounds. “Make a vision board of where you want to go and what you want to see,” she suggested. (Her images included goal-oriented ones: a healthy family, the clothes she eventually planned to wear, and a beach vacation.) “Checking these boards every day can train your brain to see yourself as a healthy person,” she added.

Of course, now she has achieved her goal, frolicking on the beach with her three children.
